I create art that builds a relationship between myself, my artwork, and my audience. I do this by choosing tools, surfaces, and colors to reflect what emotions or messages I want to communicate in a specific piece. I create these relationships by telling stories about what I am presently going through, a memory I am reliving, a tragedy I am trying to overcome, and time with my family. I believe my art should evolve with my process and over time as I build new skills, being open to fluidity. Look deep into the texture, mixed media, color choices, and subject matter of my artwork and there will always be something there for you to connect with in your lifes journey.

about
About Me.
I have a Bachelor of Art Degree from Utah Valley University, Seven years' experience working for Alpine School District, and a long professional art career, I am confident in my ability to contribute to a successfully high standard program.
In 2018 I was mentored by the Utah State Art Lifetime Achievement award winner in Visual Arts Secondary Education. She trained me how to teach and facilitate creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, citizenship, and character both in myself and for my students. I have developed highly effective techniques for deeper learning, being engaged with art and my audience, using real world experience that promote connections, and a growth mindset philosophy that encourages learning from failure and not giving up.
My strengths are passion for art, a hard work ethic, and ability to be fluid and evolve with my art and to use life experiences to connect with my audience in engaging way.
I am searching for like minded leaders in art who are willing to work co-creatively and collaboratively on future projects and business opportunities.
