I create art that builds a relationship between myself, my artwork, and my audience. I do this by choosing tools, surfaces, and colors to reflect what emotions or messages I want to communicate in a specific piece. I create these relationships by telling stories about what I am presently going through, a memory I am reliving, a tragedy I am trying to overcome, and time with my family. I believe my art should evolve with my process and over time as I build new skills, being open to fluidity.
